This week we had a power outage at NWTC, this campus is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. With most classes taught using technology such as computers, smart boards and overheads for visual aids school had no alternative but to cancel classes. Some students did have class in the hallways where there was emergency generator lights, I even heard that some students took test by window light, that brings us back to a time before Thomas Edison.
So anyway it was unusual day... many traffic lights were knocked out. Dangerous, but in a way it was a reflection of "the good-ole days" when people were polite and everyone nodded then took there turn passing through the intersections.
Well that is enough on the power outage. As a group project we must make up our time again we discover the convenience of modern technology. As we communicate over facebook, via our wiki and of course e-mail we again appreciate how this age of technology can draw us closer and is avaliable literally at the tips of our finger tips.
Our project is coming along quite well. I am pleased with the achievements we have made and the issues that we have overcome. The group is communicating well through different media methods and the collaboration has put us in a place that has tied many loose ends together. I do believe our project is a well rounded and sound verge that has evolved because of our group ideas and efforts. Thank you to all for your participation. I know that our presentation will be interesting and well prepared.
